About Ajna

Ajna was established in 2000 by Alysa Nahmias to produce provocative films that bring social and historical issues into exciting, new narrative and visual perspectives. Ajna is guided by an interdisciplinary approach.

Unfinished Spaces, an Ajna feature documentary (co-production with The Room) about the history and architecture of Cuba's National Art Schools, is now screening at film festivals and theaters around the world, and is scheduled for PBS broadcast in the United States in 2012.

Current projects include a multimedia production in collaboration with The Listening Archive.
