About Ajna Film

Ajna Film was established in 2000 by Alysa Nahmias to produce provocative documentaries that bring social and historical issues into new narrative and visual perspectives. Ajna Film is guided by an interdisciplinary approach and currently takes interest in the convergences between art and politics.

Current Ajna Film projects include Unfinished Spaces, a documentary about the history and architecture of Cuba's National Art Schools, now in production. On Unfinished Spaces, Ajna Film has collaborated with organizations including the World Monuments Fund and Women Make
Movies. Ajna Film is in development for future projects.

Ajna Film is based in Brooklyn, New York.
